About
Hana Aflatooni graduated from UCLA in 2025 with a B.S. in Psychobiology. Through her coursework in neuroscience and neurobiology, she developed a strong interest in understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying neurodegenerative diseases. Her clinical experience working with patients further reinforced her desire to advance research aimed at improving treatments for these conditions. Hana joined the Bitan Lab in the Winter of 2026 to contribute to research that may advance our understanding of these diseases and ultimately improve patient outcomes.
